How we research air purifiers

Our goal is to help Indian households choose a purifier that fits their room and maintenance budget. Product mentions are research candidates, not claims that we have personally tested them.

Selection method

We assess published particle CADR (m³/h), room volume, noise, particulate filtration, replacement-filter compatibility and ongoing ownership costs. We favor original manufacturer documentation over unsubstantiated marketplace claims.

For a rough sizing guide, target CADR = floor area (m²) × ceiling height (m) × desired air changes per hour. A 20 m² room with a 2.7 m ceiling at five air changes per hour needs about 270 m³/h, before accounting for leakage or placement.

Ratings and shopping links

We do not publish an Amazon star score unless the exact Amazon.in listing and review count have been checked. A high star score with very few reviews is not automatically a best-rated product. Prices and availability change, so check the retailer before purchase.

Amazon search buttons on this website are discovery links, not verified product-specific affiliate links. No Amazon Associates tracking tag is configured in this version.

What we have not tested

Unless explicitly stated with a test protocol, we have not independently measured CADR, noise, energy use, filtration efficiency or long-term durability. Manufacturer claims and editorial interpretations are kept distinct.

Affiliate policy

If affiliate links are introduced, qualifying links will be disclosed near product recommendations. Required site disclosure: “As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.” Editorial inclusion is not a guarantee of performance.
